We went to the grand opening of the light rail. We went green that day and took the bus from Steve's parent's house to the Tempe Transportation Center. Then we boarded the Light Rail and took it down to 3rd St and Washington. My friend Carrie's string group, The Urban Quartet was playing so we watched them perform. They were awesome! We also got to pet some police horses and Noah got to see a fire truck up close and personal. He loves fire trucks. The rail ride there was long and jam packed. When I say jam packed I mean like sardines ummmmk! Noah couldn't even see out. Then we weren't able to ride it back because the wait to get on would have been close to 2 hours. So we took a shuttle bus back. It was a fun day.
